The workshops have provided a valuable source of information both for community members and a good opportunity to meet your neighbours and contribute your ideas to the future of the community.

First completed DHA homes celebrated at Warner Lakes The Reserve

The first Defence Housing Australia (DHA) homes have been completed, marking another significant milestone for our growing community at Warner Lakes The Reserve.

Defence Housing Australia (DHA) and Peet are working to establish a local community group for Warner Lakes and Warner Lakes The Reserve. The group will manage community events into the future.

Doggy war hero to star at puppy party in the park

Brisbane dog lovers are expected to turn out in force to meet Australia’s most highly decorated four-legged war hero at the opening of a new family park and playground, in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, on Saturday 28 February, from 11am to 2pm.

Sarbi Park Opening event

Join us for the official opening of Sarbi Park, where we will be unveiling Sarbi’s bronze sculpture by local artist Kathy McLay on Saturday, 28 February from 11am at Swan Parade, Warner.

Join the Warner Lakes community group

More than 80 local residents completed the Warner Lakes community group survey last month.

The survey asked residents for their thoughts about forming a community group, what type of activities and events they would like to see in the future, and how public spaces should be used at Warner Lakes.

First families look forward to a new home

Warner Lakes The Reserve is set to welcome its first families as DHA finalises the first of 47 new homes it is currently building.
Eight Defence members and their families are expected to move in within weeks, with the remainder of the houses being completed between now and next April.

Finishing touches stunning community park

Vivid blue pathways and shade sails, attractive waterwise gardens and almost 200 trees adorn the new playground oasis in the heart of Warner Lakes The Reserve.
The one hectare recreation area includes two barbecues, a picnic shelter and fenced community dog park.

Quarry's eco revamp rocks at Warner Lakes The Reserve

A former quarry site has been transformed into an environmentally accredited residential community. Warner Lakes The Reserve, developed by Defence Housing Australia (DHA) and Peet, has achieved the highest level of green certification through the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
