Christmas Lights competition 2016

Ho ho ho!

The Warner Lakes Community Group are calling on all residents to show their love of Christmas by decorating their homes and going into the draw to win great prizes. So if you love decorating your house for Christmas, this is the ultimate way to have fun and get to know your neighbours.

Force awakens

Corporal Steve Morton has combined his Defence Force role with his search for a dream home.

The Enoggera Barracks vehicle mechanic was impressed with Peet’s Warner Lakes The Reserve, where 130 of 465 homes have been retained for Defence Force members.

As a single man without children, he said it was difficult to find a Defence Housing Australia (DHA) home at Warner Lakes The Reserve, so he bought a block of land and has now lived there for six months in a four-bedroom home.

Buyers going extra mile

Buyers are expected to camp out again next month to snap up one of the final 41 lots at Warner Lakes The Reserve.

After living in the district for almost 10 years and waiting almost six months to buy, Darren Price hopes he can pick up one of the lots.

“There aren’t many lots left so if I have to camp out, I will,” he said.

Christmas by the Lake

Bring the family down to the Christmas by the Lake event on Saturday 12 December 2015.

This year’s event will feature a range of entertainment, including Christmas carollers and roving performers, face painting and Christmas market stalls. Grab a bite to eat at the WLCG sausage sizzle - there will be ice cream and coffee available too! Keep the kids entertained with FREE kids rides and activities, and enjoy a special visit from Santa and his Little Helper. There is something for all the family!

Halloween family movie night at Sarbi Park

Join us, if you dare for a Halloween movie night at Sarbi Park this Halloween!

Everyone is invited to watch a scary movie under the stars on the outdoor cinema.

Scream-seekers of all ages are encouraged to dress up as the creepiest ghouls, ghosts, monsters, witches and vampires imaginable!

Campers win land

Buyers camped out overnight to secure their pick of the latest land release in Warner Lakes The Reserve.

Seven groups braved the overnight chill outside the sales office last week to make sure they were first in line for the latest release of 10 lots in The Terraces stage, priced about $220,900 for 320sqm.

By Monday morning eight lots had sold, four in the existing Parkside stage and four in The Terraces.
