Warner Lakes The Reserve recently achieved a 6-leaf EnviroDevelopment accreditation from the Urban Development Institute of Australia. At the time of the award, Warner Lakes The Reserve was one of 19 projects to achieve the full
6-leaf status in Queensland.

The project was previously used as a quarry and has been rejuvenated to provide extensive open space and conservation areas. The development features a Conservation Corridor, to preserve the native habitat for local flora and fauna species, including the endangered White-bellied Sea Eagle.

Guidelines are in place to protect the native species, especially during breeding season. Safe road crossing options have also been designed to help wildlife move through the site.

EnviroDevelopment has been designed to benefit a large range of groups as well as, of course, the environment in which we live. The system offers numerous benefits for home buyers, government and environmental groups and participants in the development industry.
